Miriam Sterlin writes music as a way of living. In her solo work as Lady Mandolin, classical delicacy meets rhythmic syncopation, coaxing the ear to create a sense of place with depth, humor, and lyrical poetic artistry. Leading Lincoln Elementary School’s Community Band, on the stage, behind the scenes, and giving songs over to the choir, for Miriam life and song are inextricably twined.
