Join us online or in person at the Bonney Lake Library! This month we'll enjoy stories from Stephen Leacock, O. Henry, Susanna Clarke, Jeremy Lichtman, Victoria McCurdy, Omar El Akkad, & more!

Join us online or in person at the Bonney Lake Pierce County Library for Story Hour(ish): A story time for grown-ups!  Librarian Patrick will share an hour(ish) of short stories, poems and other readings.

This program is intended for adults; stories may not be suitable for all audiences.

Join us for a selection of new stories from 2024!

This month's stories will be: "Borrowing a Match" by Stephen Leacock, "Conscience in Art" by O. Henry, "The Duke of Wellington Misplaces His Horse" by Susanna Clarke, "The Truffles of Mars" by Jeremy Lichtman, "This is How You Fail to Ghost Him" by Victoria McCurdy, "A Recent Survey of American Happenings Told Through Six Commercials for the Tennyson ClearJet Premium Touchless Bidet" by Omar El Akkad, "My Life as an Heiress" by Nora Ephron, "Wikipedia Brown and the Case of the Missing Bicycle" by B.J. Novak.

  1. Register for the program. Take care entering your email address properly.
  2. You will immediately receive an email including the Zoom link from donotreply@mylocallibrary.info. If you do not receive this link within an hour, contact us at VirtualPCLS@pcls.us
  3. When the Zoom program is scheduled to begin, log in and enjoy the program. If you have any problems logging in, contact us at VirtualPCLS@pcls.us
