Come enjoy a quiet space and the company of your fellow writers as you work towards 50,000 words!
November is National Novel Writing Month!
Have you ever dreamed of writing the Great American Novel? Each year, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) encourages people to take on the challenge of writing a 50,000 word first draft of a novel in only 30 days.
The Sumner Pierce County Library will serve as a host site for local NaNoWriMo writers as part of the "Come Write In" program. Bring your favorite notepad or laptop (or use one of ours) to work on your project.
Even if you're not participating in the official challenge, and just want some motivation to work on your own project--all are welcome!
Snacks and hydration will be provided by the Friends of the Sumner Library.
