Join us online or in person at the Bonney Lake Library for poems by Walt Whitman, Kevin Young, M.G. Lewis, Carolyn Dunn, William Carlos Williams and more in honor of National Poetry Month.

Join us online or in person at the Bonney Lake Pierce County Library for Story Hour(ish): A story time for grown-ups!  Librarian Patrick will share an hour(ish) of short stories, poems and other readings.

This program is intended for adults; stories may not be suitable for all audiences.

Join us for a selection of poems in honor of National Poetry Month!

This month's poems will be: “Casey at the Bat” by Ernest Thayer, “The Grim White Woman” by M.G. Lewis, “Paul Revere’s Ride” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, “When the Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom’d” by Walt Whitman, “This is Just to Say” by William Carlos Williams, “Variations on a Theme by William Carlos Williams” by Kenneth Koch, “Dad Movie” by Kayla Czaga, “Coyote Woman” by Carolyn Dunn, “Emily’s Name Isn’t Rachel” by John Kenney, “Bluebird” by Charles Bukowski, “A Supermarket in California” by Allen Ginsberg, “Eddie Priest’s Barbershop and Notary” by Kevin Young.
