Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia

Dementia affects people of all ages, not only older adults. Learn about the affects, risk factors, and treatment of Dementia and Alzheimer's.

This workshop is for anyone who would like to know more about Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Alzheimer’s disease is not a normal part of aging. Join us to learn about: the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia, symptoms and effects of Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, how Alzheimer's affects the brain, causes and risk factors, the benefits of early detection, stages of the disease, treatment for some symptoms, and Alzheimer's Association resources.

Registration is required for this event. Ages 13+.
