Join us for thoughtful conversation and community connection. Explore different perspectives on everyday topics. Listen to others and ask questions in a relaxed, friendly setting.

Through digitally recorded oral histories and videos we will be exploring and learning about migration and immigration through the experiences of diverse individuals who, over time, have come to live in Washington. We will discuss the histories we reviewed as well as questions such as:

  • What brought you or your family to Washington?
  • Is there a special item that your family treasures that connects you to this place? What is it?
  • What is one thing that makes Washington special to you?
  • How has Washington changed you?
  • How have you changed Washington?
  • What makes Washington your home?
