Learn and explore the sciences and various sustainability topics at your Pierce County Library!

You can grow an indoor farm and watch seeds grow with and without soil. Join Lisa Taylor, author of the “Maritime Northwest Garden Guide” and “Your Farm in the City; An Urban Dweller’s Guide to Growing Food and Raising Animals” and garden educator extraordinaire in a lively, make-along session all about sprouts and microgreens! Learn how to setup your own sprout farm and what seeds you can use. Dive into the spice cabinet for surprising sprouting possibilities. During class we will start sprouts in clear cups and plant microgreens in pots.
