Celebrate books with themed games, crafts and activities designed for kids and their favorite grown-ups to enjoy together!

We'll be celebrating the book Winter Solstice Wish by Kate Allen Fox and illustrated by Elisa Paganelli at this Book Party!

Join us for a high-energy celebration of a favorite children's book or series! These interactive programs feature themed games, crafts, storytelling and fun activities designed to engage children ages 6–9 in joyful literacy experiences. Whether it’s Pete the Cat, Elephant & Piggie or another beloved character, Book Parties encourage reading confidence, creative play and connection with other young readers. Costumes and enthusiasm welcome!

The longest night of the year is here! Join us for an afternoon filled with fun and creativity as we celebrate the book Winter Solstice Wish by Kate Allen Fox and illustrated by Elisa Paganelli.  Come together for seasonal games and crafts as we savor the light and the connections this season brings.

***We also invite families to attend a musical performance by cellist and composer Gretchen Yanover (https://gretchenyanover.com/) at 3 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room.
