Welcome to the STEAM for Kids Discovery Lab, where kids dive into science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities, experiments and creative challenges.
Programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and support child-led exploration.
Each STEAM Discovery Lab session may look a little different - read on or check with your library for details!
Explore Adriana Hess Wetland Park. Use real microscopes to view pond water and natural samples collected on site. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
Registration is required for all attendees. Participants will learn to use monocular compound microscopes and hand-held field microscopes. Families are encouraged to attend together with at least one adult caregiver in the group. Magnifying glasses will be available to support participation of younger attendees.
