Local poet and queer creative writer, Austin Sargent, will lead this interactive workshop and 2SLGBTQIA+ poetry reading. Explore foundations of creation, strategies for fighting writer's block, and share tips for writer self-care. Austin will guide the creation of one collective piece from the group. Participants are encouraged to come with paper, pens, notebooks, or other writing utensils and a willingness to dig deep. All are welcome!
