In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, journey into untold perspectives of early America, shining a light on the women, Black and Indigenous people who helped shape our country's foundation.

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with Voices of Valor, a powerful and engaging presentation that illuminates the often‑overlooked women, Black Americans, and Indigenous people who helped shape early America. Discover compelling stories that broaden the familiar narrative and reveal new connections to our nation’s beginnings.

Designed for adult and high school audiences, Voices of Valor offers a fresh, inclusive look at the social and cultural forces that defined the era. This program is presented by Courtney Taylor, an independent historian and educator who has created immersive, research‑driven programs for local school districts, the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association, and the Spirit of ’76 Living History Association.
