University Place Community Writing Center

Bring your writing project for feedback from a trained volunteer writing mentor.

The University Place Community Writing Center (CWC) is a place where you can bring your writing project (memoirs, story, novel, essay, letter to the editor, etc.) for feedback from one of our trained volunteer writing mentors. It’s always good to have an insightful reader read your work and give you constructive feedback! Bring a draft, a partial draft or just ideas.

The CWC is a joint service of the Pierce County Library System and the Pierce College Writing Center. If you are a good writer and are interested in volunteering your services as a writing mentor, contact Keith Kirkwood, District Writing Center Manager, Pierce College at 253-864-3181 or kkirkwood@pierce.ctc.edu
