Join Master Gardener Judy Thierry to learn how to start your garden. And check out the seed library located in the University Place Library to get your garden growing!

Literally sprouting up in the library system are “seed libraries.” Want to start a garden or small planter and uncertain of where to start? Besides soil, water and sunlight seeds are ready to grow information packets. Join us virtually to understand what makes a seed a seed,  watch a demo on what seeds you may want to sow and learn where you can access seeds to experience the pleasures of gardening this spring or any season.

Judy Thierry is a Master Gardener volunteer with the Pierce County MG Foundation part of the Washington State University agriculture extension. She is a member and president of the University Place Community Garden on the Evergreen Primary School grounds. She enjoys soil building, vermiculture, growing perennials and annuals with vegetables to support pollinators.
