Join us in person every second Wednesday of the month at Rosedale Community Hall for teen book club! Choose a book that matches with the theme. For ages 12-17
Brought to you in partnership with PenMet Parks!
Must be between 12 - 17 years old to participate
The theme for July is “Summer Camp” to match with our Summer Reading theme this year: Beyond the Beaten Path
Please note that the PenMet + Gig Teen Book Club will be taking a summer break in August and will resume meeting again in September
Read or listen to a book filled with summer camp romances and chilling campy thrills or pick up a graphic novel and be ready to share what your loved or hated about your choice!
Some titles that are recommended for this theme include:
Camp by L.C. Rosen
No Place Like Here by Christina June
The Woods are Always Watching by Stephanie Perkins
Flamer by Mike Curato
Participants should prepare for being in the sun/the current weather. In the event of inclement weather (excessive heat, smoke, rain, etc. the event will be canceled).
Teen Book Club will meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 4:30-5:30p at Rosedale Hall (8205 86th Ave NW, Gig Harbor, WA, 98335)
