Medicaid (called Apple Health in Washington state) provides health care to nearly 2 million people of all ages, but it is not intended as a back-up insurance plan for long term support. Learn what Medicaid do, who can benefit, the limitations and drawbacks and the consequences of drawing on its benefits. This informational program is provided by the Pierce County Aging & Disabilities Resource Center.
