Join Ray Stoeve, author of Between Perfect and Real and Arden Grey, for a reading, discussion of their path to publishing, and Q&A.

Ray Stoeve is the author of the young adult novels Between Perfect and Real and Arden Grey, both Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selections. They also contributed to the young adult anthology Take The Mic: Fictional Stories of Everyday Resistance. They received a 2016-2017 Made at Hugo House Fellowship and created the YA/MG Trans and Nonbinary Voices Masterlist, a database that tracks all books in those age categories written by trans authors about trans characters.

This program is part of Our Own Expressions Teen Art & Writing Contest, running 1/23/23 to 2/28/23. More information is available at expressions.pcls.us

Registration required. Open to ages 13-19.

Note for caregivers - Registering your child for this event gives them permission to participate in the library's virtual event hosted on Zoom, an online platform. The event will be monitored by library staff. We encourage caregivers to join in with your child and ask that an adult stay with children under 5.
