What is a Makerspace?

In partnership with Pacific Lutheran University, the Parkland/Spanaway Pierce County Library presents an entertaining and informative session about the Makerspace Movement.

Learn what a Makerspace is, how creative spaces can be used to engage the community, and the typical supplies and materials used in a Makerspace. Michael Halvorson teaches innovation and design at PLU, and will bring team members from the Makerspace at PLU.

After an informative session about creative spaces, each participant will have the opportunity to create a greeting card with a range of Makerspace supplies! Learn more about the PLU Makerspace here: https://www.plu.edu/innovation-studies/events/.
