Sensory Play

Children can play and explore sensory stations that will encourage their curiosity and sense of wonder through touch, sight and sound.

Explore sensory bins with your little ones, from something squishy to something wet and everything in between! Some bins may be messy, so dress for mess!

What does sensory play do? First, it's fun!

Helps to build nerve connections in the brain
Encourages the development of motor skills
Supports language development
Encourages ‘scientific thinking’ and problem solving
Can involve mindful activities which are beneficial for all children
This event will take place in the Orting Multi-Purpose room.
