Join Fireside Storytellers for an hour of traditional storytelling featuring five stories from around the world, which celebrate the kinder, gentler, more inspiring side of the human condition.
Meet your Storytellers from Fireside Storytelling League.
Brad Grindrod is relatively new to traditional storytelling, having crossed over five years ago from the more business oriented world of public speaking. He will be telling the classic Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, “The Ugly Duckling” as well as his adaptation of a short story by Dr. Loren Eiseley, called, “The Star Thrower.”
Joy Ross is a veteran storyteller, and longest tenured member of Fireside Storytellers. She will be telling her adaptation of a story by Cynthia Rylant, called, “Silver Packages.”
Bonnie Anderson is a librarian at the Puyallup Public Library and an accomplished storyteller who has been with Fireside for many years. She will be telling a story called, “The Mitten.”
Kathleen Benoun, also a librarian, will be telling a tale she has chosen from a Native American Indian tradition.
