Join us online or in person at the Bonney Lake Library for a selection of stories in honor of Black History Month!

Join us online or in person at the Bonney Lake Pierce County Library for Story Hour(ish): A story time for grown-ups!  Librarian Patrick will share an hour(ish) of short stories, poems and other readings.

This program is intended for adults; stories may not be suitable for all audiences.

Join us for a selection of stories in honor of Black History Month!

This month's stories will be: "Boy on a Train" by Ralph Ellison, "Friday Black" by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah, "We're the Only Colored People Here" by Gwendolyn Brooks, "Long Hair" by Uche Okonkwo, & "Big Joe's Funeral" by Walter Dean Myers.

How do Zoom programs work?

1. Register for the program. Take care entering your email address properly.
2. You will immediately receive an email including the Zoom link from donotreply@mylocallibrary.info. If you do not receive this link within an hour, contact us at VirtualPCLS@pcls.us
3. When the Zoom program is scheduled to begin, log in and enjoy the program. If you have any problems logging in, contact us at VirtualPCLS@pcls.us
