Poet Austin Sargent will encourage the writer to use their memories, feelings, and the archive of life's experiences as their primary source in creating.
Local poet and queer creative writer, Austin Sargent, will lead this highly interactive workshop and explore the foundations of creation, strategies for fighting "writer's block", and important strategies for writer self care. Participants are encouraged to come with paper, pens, notebooks, or other writing utensils and a willingness to dig deep.
Join us and learn about the histories, contributions, and lived experiences of those around us as we uplift community voices and explore stories that act as mirrors of our own lives and windows into experiences different from our own.
