Explore, build or experiment with hands-on projects, no experience needed. This is a space to try things out, ask questions and create something along the way.

Join us for an evening of backyard astronomy with an educator from the Tacoma Astronomical Society! Learn some basic skills to use in your own night sky viewing and build your own planisphere or star wheel. After the sun sets, step outside to view the night sky through a telescope.

The Tacoma Astronomical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering an interest in and understanding of astronomy in our region. TAS hosts activities for people of all ages and knowledge and provides customized educational outreach programs to the community. Learn more at www.tas-online.org.
