Join us for thoughtful conversation and community connection. Explore different perspectives on everyday topics. Listen to others and ask questions in a relaxed, friendly setting.

Come glimpse what living on the Washington frontier was like. From trails to rails, we will explore the Oregon Trail and pioneer life through maps, documents, cookbooks, artifacts and more! We will then discuss what we have reviewed and answer questions such as:

• Is there anything from the frontier days that still influences our local arts and crafts or cultures?
• Does your family have any connection to the frontier days of Washington through artifacts or stories?
• What aspects of frontier life are most intriguing or surprising to you based on what you've learned?
• How did frontier communities form tight-knit bonds and rely on mutual aid and cooperation for survival?
• What could modern communities learn from frontier communities?
