Looking for high-interest nonfiction books to spark your child’s curiosity? Local school librarians will share 10 titles from the 2025-26 Washington Library Association’s Towner Award Nominee list!

Towner Award-nominated titles span the 5 different types of nonfiction to engage individual student reading preferences. Attendees will learn how children in grades 2-6 can vote for their favorite of the ten books, alongside students from across the state, in May 2026. This presentation is suitable for students from public, private, and homeschool settings.
