Join us for a a hands-on art experience that invites you to explore the vibrant world of one of America’s most joyful and groundbreaking artists: Alma Woodsey Thomas.

Join us and learn about the histories, contributions, and lived experiences of those around us as we uplift community voices and explore stories that act as mirrors of our own lives and windows into experiences different from our own.

In this program, you’ll learn about Alma’s life and legacy, discover how her work intersects with major movements in American art, and create your own abstract landscape using her signature techniques. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just beginning your creative journey, this experience is about expressing your personal connection to color, rhythm, and nature. All supplies will be provided by PCLS.
