Learn about the histories, contributions, and lived experiences of those around us, as we uplift voices and explore stories that serve as mirrors of our lives and windows into different experiences.
Looking to try something new? Join us for an afternoon of feel-good art-making in honor of both AAPI Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month. This hands-on workshop is designed to help you explore your creativity, find your center, and unwind in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Guided by Filipina-American art therapist Katrina Van Strien, you will explore two unique mediums. You’ll master Neurographica, a step-by-step drawing method used for relaxation and insight, and then transition to air-dry clay to sculpt your own island while learning about archipelagos. You will leave with your unique artwork and new techniques for stress relief.
Unwind your mind & play with clay! All materials provided.
