LEGO® Mechatronics Cobots with the Museum of Flight

a STEAM for Kids Discovery Lab program

Hands-on introductory workshop. Work together to learn how Cobots are used in sustainable manufacturing using LEGO SPIKE Prime robots. For ages 9-16. Registration requested.

Engineers use Cobots, or collaborative robots, to build much of the world around us. In this introductory workshop from the Museum of Flight, participants will learn how Cobots are used in sustainable manufacturing. Work with a partner to build and program a Cobot using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime robots to solve a problem for an important client.  

For ages 9-16 years old.  Registration requested as space is limited for each 120 minute session. An adult caregiver for each child participant (ages 9-12) must remain in the building for the duration of the program.

Welcome to the STEAM for Kids Discovery Lab, where kids dive into science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities, experiments and creative challenges.

Programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and support child-led exploration.  Each STEAM Discovery Lab session may look a little different - check with your library for details!
