Welcome to the STEAM for Kids Discovery Lab, where kids dive into science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities, experiments and creative challenges.
Programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and support child-led exploration.
Each STEAM Discovery Lab session may look a little different - read on or check with your library for details!
Stomp rockets - with the power of air alone, send paper rockets flying through the air. Learn about aerodynamics, the use and purpose of stabilizing fins, and iterative design to make the perfect paper tube that can sail, soar, and land without veering wildly off-course or pulling up short of the desired distance.
