Welcome to the STEAM for Kids Discovery Lab, where kids dive into science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities, experiments and creative challenges.
Programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and support child-led exploration.
Each STEAM Discovery Lab session may look a little different - read on or check with your library for details!
Basic Circuits - snap-together items that demonstrate the ways electrons flow from power, through work, and back to the power source again, uninterrupted. Participants may possibly do some advanced work with getting lights to light up or finding just how much load a battery can take before it can't supply enough power to do all the work.
