Live Your Best Digital Life Series: Beyond the Bubble: Truth and Trust In a Digital World

Beyond the Bubble is a 90-minute workshop that starts with why our information world feels so murky, from algorithms to AI, then hands you practical tools to check what's credible, spot fakes and scams, and share and create information responsibly. Presenter Di Zhang is a librarian, speaker, and instructional designer who serves as Instruction & Open Educational Resources Librarian at Renton Technical College and guest faculty at the University of Washington Information School. Formerly with The Seattle Public Library, he created The Fake News Survival Guide, a media literacy class now being developed into a Media Lit Toolkit. He holds a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Washington.
