Create art inspired by a Caldecott Medal-winning picture book.
We will read the 2026 Caldecott Medal-winning picture book Fireworks illustrated by Cátia Chien, written by Matthew Burgess. Taking inspiration from the book, we will create artwork that explodes with color and sound using a variety of art materials and expressive words.
