Gig Harbor Large Meeting RoomHands-on fun with science, technology, engineering, art, and math - designed just for kids! Make scratch art keychains with the Tacoma Art Museum!
Welcome to the STEAM for Kids Discovery Lab, where kids dive into science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities, experiments and creative challenges.
Programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and support child-led exploration.
Each STEAM Discovery Lab session may look a little different - read on or check with your library for details!
Join the Tacoma Art Museum in this partnership program with the library to learn the names of popular designs represented in Japanese Art and Anime. Together we will be trying out these designs by making Scratch Art Keychains.
These influences can be seen in some of TAM’s collection of 350 Japanese Woodblock Prints one of the finest collections on the West Coast. Explore more about these prints through the Museum’s Online Collection
