Join Matt Santelli, Outreach Specialist at Pierce County Aging Disability Resources, for this energetic presentation. Matt will teach you to promptly recognize the basic structure of the most common scams, understand why seniors are targeted, and learn the steps to take for recovery if you become a victim. Matt has worked at Pierce County Aging Disability Resources for 24 years. During that time, he has visited locations all around Pierce County to warn seniors and disabled adult residents about the danger of scams, fraud, and identity theft.
Library staff will also provide a brief presentation on resources, available fraud prevention, and recovery.
